Great Cook Book
This is one of many cookbooks I own and this is a nice one as it is fairly complete and has good recomendations from the test kitchen as well as good alternatives as well to the main dishes listed. It also is bound nicely and holds up well in the kitchen. I would recomend this book

Toss out your old cookbooks.
This is the best cookbook ever. I used to use my old staple popular cookbooks that I grew up on. But, I would always question “why” do they request this ingredient over that one. Or why do it that long way, can’t I cheat and do it the easier way. Well, this cookbook tells you the WHY reason behind all sorts of things which in turn makes you a better cook. They give you easier ways to do so many things, the best commercial product to use for the recipe and little pictures so you can SEE how to do the steps. Its simplified so you don’t have to stare at a wall of tiny words that look daunting. I give this cookbook to everyone for wedding gifts and new couples for housewarming gifts. I am always thanked later with so much gratitude.

The only cookbook you need!
As someone who just started learning to really cook, this book is all the arsenal you need in the kitchen. Unlike the majority of cookbooks I have, where it simply lists the recipe and directions, I really appreciate the commentary before each recipe explaining how they got to this particular version of the recipe. There’s a lot of discussion of “technique” in the book, as well as product reviews, such as skillets and saucepans. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing. The only caveat is most of these recipes do take a bit of time. There’s a 3-minute version, which I might also pick up, since I don’t have the patience to wade through the entire book to figure out WHAT’S a 30-minute meal. Overall, though, this book is amazing and worth its weight in gold!

A Cook’s must, an American Classic
I purchased this book aproximately three months ago and I have been cooking extensively from it with amazing results. When I got it, my level as a cook was relatively basic and by going through the recipes in this book and taking classes in a local institute, I can now cook relatively complex dishes with excelent, consistent results. I own a number of other books but this is always my main source. If a recipe is on this book (very likely as it is very comprehensive), I will probably pick it instead of using any of my other books.

America’s test kitchen has made a great classic here.

Truly the Best Cookbook Ever!
I love this cookbook. I have had it for several years and reach for it again and again. The Butterscotch Cream Pie recipe is worth the $ all by itself. It is one of my favorite books to give as a gift.
